1. RED:- With Red colored ashey indicating the Matra(wisdom aspects of practice) or candaliyoga.
2. BLUE:- Which is the background of ashey is blue in color, indicating Pitra (method aspects of practice). The Matra imbedded or together with Pitra connotes the indispensability of wisdom and method unanimity in the existence.
3. GREEN:- Green color indicates prana (the wind elements).
4. WHITE:- With circular white color indicating bindu (realized orgasmic energy or essence of life) and,
5. BLACK LINING:- Singnifies nadi (the veins and artery compositions of yogic body).

His Holiness the je-khenpo conferred a scarf on His Eminence's in recognizing ofhis service to Dharma.The khadhar(scarf) is being awarded for his outstan- ding work carried out in the six Eastern Dzong-khag. His Eminence is the first Lam who receiv- ed the scarf with orange and white lining.
